The Brazzers network has released two DVDs full of original porn parodies produced for its websites, Brazzers Presents: The Parodies in 2011 and Brazzers Presents: The Parodies, Volume 2 in 2012.

But as several readers have pointed out (you know who you are, thanks), the DVDs are just the tip of the iceberg. Brazzers has made literally hundreds of porn parodies over the last few years. These generally run about 30-45 minutes each, not feature length but longer than the average scene. The parodies are sprinkled across various Brazzers sites — Big Tits in Sports, Baby Got Boobs, MILFs Like It Big, etc — but one membership covers the whole Brazzers network of sites.

So PornParody.com will start adding some Brazzers titles into the mix — perfect timing, since the parody DVD release schedule looks mighty thin for summer.

First up, some Brazzers fairy tales …

Wonderland, Part 1 is a hot four-way lesbian scene with Lexi Belle, Gia Dimarco, Christy Mack and Bonnie Rotten.

In Wonderland, Part 2, James Deen shows up as the Mad Hatter and joins the four girls.

Cinderella Meets Her Pricks Charming stars Tasha Reign in the title role, seen here oppressed by an evil stepsister and then glammed up for the ball.

And finally Dolly Pop, a XXX version of the Pinocchio fairy tale. Kudos to the Brazzers makeup crew — starlet Rikki Six really does look eerily artificial.

A Dangerous Method was of interest mainly to David Cronenberg completists and History of Psychoanalysis buffs. It told the story of Carl Jung’s love affair with patient Sabina Spielrein, who went on to become a major psychoanalyst in her own right.

An Erotic Method is the porn parody version, debuting today at the Brazzers site “Doctor Adventures”. Johnny Sins plays the shrink, Blake Rose plays the patient. Pretty heady stuff for porn. Blake Rose’s boobs weigh more than all of Keira Knightley put together, plus they’re better actors.

David Cronenberg films have not been popular porn parody targets, for whatever reason. Daring made an unlikely porn parody of Eastern Promises entitled Eastern Promise. In 2000, David Aaron Clark directed the Videodrome XXX knockoff Pornodrome.

Another two Cronenberg-inspired pornos from the 1990s don’t circulate nowadays. Naked Lunch (1995) starred Ron Jeremy, which sure sounds intriguing, but we can’t find any info beyond the IAFD listing. The only info we could find about X Butterfly (1998) is an old Penthouse Video Guide blurb: “We were familiar enough with the plot [of M Butterfly] to expect some shemale extravaganza in a tape called X Butterfly. What we got instead was a well-crafted and engaging porn video with nary a transsexual in sight.”

CraigsList kicked off the hookers (aka “erotic services” “providers”) a long time ago, but the “CreigsList Cuties” knockoff series from Rookie Nookie continues. The most recent installment is CreigsList Cuties #3.

Same format as the first two go-rounds: each sex scene is supposedly a hookup (paid or just for fun) arranged via “CreigsList”. This one’s worth a peek just for the porn names of the starlets: Carry (one name only), Casey Cumz, Summer Rae, Sasha Casey and Jassi Capri. Whoever thinks up these names is falling into a rut.

Still available are CreigsList Cuties and CreigsList Cuties #2.

In 2001 Cash Markman directed Shagnet, a porn parody of Dragnet. Set in 1970, Shagnet follows Sgt. Joe Thursday and his partner as they investigate the illegal underground pornography business around Los Angeles.

Shagnet does a pretty good job recreating 1970 fashion and decor, from the squaresville cops to the Bradyesque suburbanites to the hippy-dippy freaks. And some of the dialogue is amusing. At one point Thursday’s captain warns, “If we don’t stop these pornographers now, by 2001 there could be as many as fifty of these films made a year”.

Steve Austin channels Jack Webb as Thursday, with Anthony Crane as his partner. Bridgette Kerkove, Angelica Sin, Mike Horner, Elizabeth X, Evan Stone, Kate Frost, Ron Jeremy and Jewel De’Nyle play assorted porno perps and concerned citizens.

Shagnet on DVD is hard to find these days, but our store lists it as available via special order.

Wedding Crashers seems like an obvious porn parody target, but it hasn’t gotten much attention to date.

The original was released in summer 2005 and made $200 million at the box office. A quickie knockoff called Wedding Thrasshers came out a few months later. It wasn’t much of a parody. In fact it was a re-edited re-issue of the 2004 release 2 Million Dollar A$$ — same six sex scenes, just in different order with a bit of new framing material. Pornographers are a bunch of lazy cheapass fucks sometimes.

Brazzers showed more ambition in their porn parody Wedding Crazzers, released in four installments on three different sites (confusing, I know) in 2009.

Parts #1 and #4 were included on the DVD Brazzers Presents: The Parodies. It would be nice if they could release all four parts on their own DVD.

If the porn parody craze continues apace, we predict someone will make another Wedding Crashers XXX soon enough. But no one will ever bother making The Internship XXX.

Vivid debuts The Newlywed Game XXX: A Porn Parody today in the Vivid.com membership area. It will be a web exclusive for two weeks, then get a DVD release on August 13.

When David Petraeus’s affair with biographer Paula Broadwell went public last November, Hustler decided to create a ripped-from-the-headlines porn parody. It’s out now on DVD: The General Goes All In, starring Evan Stone as the general and Kimberly Kane as the biographer.

The title is a play on Broadwell’s bestselling book All In: The Education of General David Petraeus, which became the subject of jokes once the affair was revealed.

Here’s the problem with ripped-from-the-headlines dirty jokes. Photochopping a book cover takes five minutes, and you can post it while the tabloid scandal is raging. If you’re lucky, some dimwitted TV news producer will actually use your photochop on air. But creating a feature-length porn parody takes too long. The Petraeus-Broadwell scandal feels like ancient history now.

Here we go, list time again. There haven’t been all that many game show porn parodies, just these eight that we found. For the most part, we’re not counting XXX spoofs of talent competition shows (American Idol, X Factor, etc) or dating shows (The Bachelor, The Dating Game) or Big Brother-type shows — those will be different lists eventually.

  Hustler’s parody targets the classic 60s-70s Hollywood Squares. Fake celebrities inside the giant glass tic-tac-toe board include Kim Kardashian (played by Brianna Jordan), Lady Gaga (Ashley Jane), Lindsay Lohan (Scarlett Fay), Barack Obama (Tyler Knight), Sarah Palin (Raylene), Paul Lynde (Alec Knight, not in the center square which is just wrong), ALF (guy in ALF suit) and Alex Trebek (Dale DaBone). Pornstars Ron Jeremy, Victoria White, Faye Reagan, Natalie Vegas and Jenna Haze appear as themselves. The opening scene, a fake Kim/Lindsay coupling in a limo, is the comedy smut highlight.

I’ve been keeping a mental list of “most inappropriate porn parodies of all time”, which may become a listicle post soon. Can’t Be Roots is on the list. Talibang is on the list. Heaven’s Anal Gateway is at the top of the list.

Another entry for the list: What’s Butt Got To Do With It, a porn parody of the Tina Turner biopic What’s Love Got To Do With It (both released in 1993).

The Hollywood version dealt with Tina Turner’s physical abuse by her husband Ike Turner and how she eventually worked up the courage to leave him. An old rec.arts.movies.erotica review describes the porn parody twist on this scenario:

Diana Knight stars as “Keena Burner”, with Julian St. Jox as her abusive, cheating Ike figure. … Two police officers arrive to investigate complaints against “Ike” just as “Keena” is preparing to leave him. She wants them to just be quiet and let her get away, and says “I’ll do anything” if you just let me get out of here without a scene. Clumsily enough, this cuts straight into her sucking both of their white dicks in the parking lot. “Ike” is watching and not apparently happy but they keep flashing their badges up at him so he just continues to watch from his balcony.

Holy fuck.

The cast also includes Lynden Johnson (great porno name), Janet Jacme (also great), Ariel Daye, Persia, Kitty Yung, Dave Hardman, Dick Nasty, Jamie Lee, Ron Jeremy and Tina Tyler. Directed by Nic Cramer.

The devoted preservationists at Alpha Blue Archives have restored and reissued another pair of classic porn parodies. The Angela Baron Triple Feature includes both RoboFox (1987) and RoboFox Part II (1988), which riffed on the 1987 Paul Verhoeven joint RoboCop.

In RoboFox, an ordinary girl is transformed into “the perfect sex robot created for ultimate pleasures”, played by Hustler centerfold Angela Baron. Also starring Erica Boyer, Tom Byron, Billy Dee, Krista Lane and Lisa Bright (aka Alicia Monet). Directed by Paul Thomas.

In the future imagined by RoboFox, the field of sex robotics has evolved to the point that sex robots are indistinguishable from real live pornstars. But you can tell they’re robots from the awesome silver lamé thigh-high boots they wear.

In RoboFox, Part II, the “ultimate sexbot returns” and gets her “revenge”, for what we’re not quite sure. Also starring Siobhan Hunter, Jamie Gillis, Randy West, Stephanie Rage and Ona Z (aka Joanna Collins).

Here’s another good look at the fine costume and makeup work in RoboFox. I love the 1980s.

There’s a Hollywood remake of RoboCop starring Joel Kinneman in the works for 2014, so someone will probably make another porn parody then.

Better Than Life collects five videogame porn parody scenes produced by Britporn network Television X.

The Brazzers network has done hardcore spoofs of several big Hollywood sci-fi movies. They’re each about 30-40 minutes with one long sex scene. I’m liking the Brazzers style right now — good mix of camp and raunch, professional lighting and camerawork (sadly not always the case in porn). This X-Men spoof was just posted this month.

Pornographers love the Real Housewives. The term “housewives” is not quite as popular as “MILF” or “cougar” in XXX titles, but it’s getting there. Parodies (or at least namechecks) of Desperate Housewives were big for a while, but lately it’s all about the Real Housewives of someplace or another.

Two years ago, West Coast Productions gave us Real Black Housewives of LA, starring “reality TV star” (she was a contestant on For the Love of Ray J) Bethany Benz. Now WCP is back with a sequel, Real Black Housewives of LA 2 with Jade Aspen, Megan Maze, Cherri Hilson, Megan Vaughn and Yasmine de Leon.

Sinful joins the trend with The Anal Housewives Of Beverly Hills with Brooke Haven, Taryn Thomas, Vivian West, Donna Doll and Michelle Avanti.

And Global Media recently launched a transsexual “Unreal Housewives” series, starting with Unreal Housewives of Hunt’s Point and Unreal Housewives of Atlantic City.

(Hunts Point is a neighborhood in the Bronx notorious for street prostitution. That’s what I’ve heard, at least.)

Finally, White Ghetto has a Real Indian Housewives series. The latest installment, Real Indian Housewives 4, is out now.

Back in 2008, Playboy TV ran a reality series called The Boy Nexxt Door, about an aspiring pornographer named “Danny Vegas” who lived in his parents’ basement. In episodes eight and nine, Danny got a gig editing footage for a Xena the Warrior Princess porn parody.

Five and a half year later, that film is finally getting a DVD release: Xxxena the Porn Princess.

The performers are all complete unknowns. Decide for yourself if that’s a plus or a minus.

Devil’s Film drops a new pop culture celebrity lookalike porn parody, Just In Beaver Feaver, starring Seth Gamble as barely legal bad boy pop star Justin.

Back in 1986, Henri Pachard directed the porn parody Pumping Flesh. Erica Boyer played a pornstar who “inherits a posh bodybuilding club in San Francisco” and institutes some creative new workout programs.

Dig the tagline: “Straining, Bulging, Glistening Muscles Made For Love!”

The fine 1980s cast includes Danielle, Lois Ayres, Nina Hartley, Wendi Wood, Joey Silvera, John Leslie and Paul Thomas.

Hustler has launched a new site called Hustler Parodies highlighting their porn parody releases. It boasts 300+ parody scenes, which sounds about right. As usual with these megasites, signing up to Hustler Parodies gives you access to the whole Hustler network (Hustler.com, Barely Legal, Hometown Girls, a bunch of niche sites and sex tapes). Pretty good deal. Advertorial over.

Today Hustler Parodies debuts This Ain’t Homeland XXX, directed by Axel Braun. There will be a DVD release at some point, but for now it’s only up online.

Is the very idea of a Homeland porn parody in bad taste? Sure it is. But bad taste, the badder the better, is part of what makes America great.
