Did you know that Cops is still producing new episodes, now in its 23rd season? I didn’t. That’s a lot of domestic disturbances. There have been plenty of Cops porn parodies before this, including POPS: True Stories of the Porno Patrol (1994). More recently Hustler made This Ain’t Cops XXX and DreamZone made COPS XXX: The Parody Too.

Real Productions has now released two porn parodies with “Barely” in the title. The first was Barely Blue Velvet a few weeks ago. Looks like there’s a new player in the parody game.

British porn network Television X has made quite a few porn parodies, often targetting British subjects. Among their most recent and most risky endeavors is The Iron Lady Garden, introduced in this SFW YouTube trailer.

Television X titles generally appear first on their own website and TV channel, then later make it to DVD and VoD. We’re still waiting for The Iron Lady Garden to become available on this side of the pond.

The annual Los Angeles Lebowski Fest takes place March 22-23 at the Saban Theater and Fountain Bowl. And this year, New Sensations will be there giving away DVDs and posters of The Big Lebowski: A XXX Parody, one of the biggest-selling porn parodies of all time.

Note: the original Lebowski Fest took place in Louisville. There’s nothing official about the LA version, no matter what they claim.

Alpha Blue Archives has released two science fiction-themed triple feature DVDs featuring previously unavailable porn parodies from the 1970s & 1980s.

First up, the Wet Science Triple Feature.

This DVD contains Wet Science starring Erica Boyer; Bionic Babes starring Kristara Barrington; and Backside To The Future starring Erica Boyer and Tami White. All originally released in 1986, all unavailable on DVD or VoD until now. The first and third titles are parodies of Weird Science and Back to the Future, both of which came out in 1985.

Next up, the Space Virgins Triple Feature.

Including Space Virgins (1984) starring Gina Carrera, Amber Lynn and Sharon Mitchell; Starship Intercourse (1987) starring Gail Force and Samantha Strong; and Carnal Encounters Of The Barest Kind (1978) starring Marlene Munroe.

Starship Intercourse sounds like it should be a Star Trek porn parody, but the plot synopsis — “six alien sex offender female prisoners escape and invade Earth!” — sounds more like Alien 3 or Superman II.

The real prize here is Carnal Encounters Of The Barest Kind, from back when porn flicks were made for theaters, back when they mixed sex scenes with goofy twisted humor that was often actually funny. The Alpha Blue blurb describes it as “cheeseball XXX sci-fi flick notable for its claymation aliens, stop motion disembodied alien cock fuck scene and a picknicker getting a fried chicken leg stuffed up her snatch!”

Last November, voters in Los Angeles County approved “Measure B” by a 57%-43% vote, which made the “County of Los Angeles Safer Sex In the Adult Film Industry Act” into law. The new law requires porn shoots to use condoms for all vaginal and anal sex scenes.

The porn industry doesn’t like the law, naturally. Now Zero Tolerance has produced a porn parody of sorts, Measure X, which imagines “an all-condom porn industry complete with bumbling ‘condom cops’, confused performers, and a sleazy politician who initially backs the proposition but soon realizes that no one, himself included, wants to watch porn with condoms”. Think of it as a feature-length editorial cartoon with fucking.

Starring Jayden Jaymes, Capri Cavalli, Adrianna Luna, Lola Foxx and Bonnie Rotten. The studio promises that all proceeds will be spent on the anti-Measure B fight.

Porn parody superstar director Axel Braun continues his run of superhero XXX flicks with two upcoming releases timed to coincide with Hollywood summer blockbusters.

Hollywood gives us Iron Man 3 on May 3, and Vivid follows with Iron Man XXX: An Axel Braun Parody.

Charles Bronson’s Death Wish came out in 1974. Two years later, porn director/star Zebedy Colt made the sorta porn parody Sex Wish. The theatrical poster (porn was shown in theaters back then! and they made real posters!) looked downright romantic.

In reality, Sex Wish was a prime example of the 70s porn subgenre of sadistic, rapey “roughies” or “sickies”. They don’t make em like that anymore, and that’s a good thing. The Alpha Blue Archives DVD cover captures the movie’s spirit better:

The trucker culture and CB radio craze yielded several movies, including Breaker! Breaker! (1977) starring Chuck Norris. The porn biz joined the convoy with Breaker Beauties (also 1977) starring Vanessa del Rio.
